All of the equipment is made of FDA food-grade materials and will perform reliably for many years. Aside from the hydrometer, all parts are virtually unbreakable. Responsible cleaning and sanitizing will assure consistently great results. Also remember to avoid scratching the surface of all plastics and vinyls, as scratches provide a hiding place for bacteria that will spoil your beer. No aluminum utensils should be used!
